About the WSF
The Women’s Storytelling Festival premiered, in Fairfax City, VA, in March of 2020, days before Virginia businesses closed down due to the start of the pandemic. Nevertheless, we persisted. Our 2021 festival was entirely virtual. In 2022, we returned to an in-person Festival, adding the live-streaming and one month viewing period option. We sold over 400 tickets.
The 2026 WSF
In 2026, we are once again performing in-person in Fairfax City, and live-streaming the festival, so that our Mid-Atlantic audience can attend, and our audience around the world can still tune in. All ticket holders, whether they have an in-person pass or a virtual one, will have access to the recordings for one month after.
This means that sponsors can be recognized throughout the festival weekend as well through the viewing period afterwards. Sponsor can be listed in the print program, and logos can also be broadcast on screen for the online audience. Some sponsors will also have their company logo and a link to their company website remaining on our website for the duration of the year.
