Women’s Stories Make the News

We, at Better Said Than Done, can usually count on a few articles each year about the Women’s Storytelling Festival. It is the only festival of its kind in the world, and it takes place just outside the Nation’s Capitol. But this year raised the bar. Not only are there more articles, but the articles dig deep and explore why we need a platform for women to share their stories.

The 2025 Women’s Storytelling Festival kicks off March 20 at 8:00pm Eastern/5:00pm Pacific with a virtual only showcase. The in-person storytelling starts at 7:00pm Eastern on March 21 and runs through the evening of March 23, 2025.

In-person events will take place at Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Blenheim Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030. The virtual only opening showcase, as well as all of the live-stream events, will play on YouTube.
