It’s Thanksgiving Week and December is nearly upon us. The days continue to shorten and we yearn for the return of the light. Decorations of myriad kinds go up in spaces public and private. We gather together to celebrate this communal time, reflect on the year that’s passing, and hope and plan for a better new year.
Better Said Than Done’s contribution to this festive season is our annual year-end online storytelling show. This year we’re calling it Joy to the World! It’ll be a night of happiness, mirth, humor, and warmth. The year-end celebration and storytelling show is on Thursday, December 4th at 7 P.M. Eastern Time. Get your tickets now!
The always charming Jessica Robinson is your emcee for the evening, and our slate of tellers is sure to elicit smiles, laughter, and wonder – Alton Chung, Jane Dorfman, Lyn Ford, Claire Hennessy, Eric Johnson, Anne Rutherford, Ria Spencer, Lisa Trank, and Carlos Velazquez! We’ll also be presenting our Year-in-Review video, and we’ll have a few toasts to wrap up the program.
In addition to a top-flight night of storytelling, everyone who buys a ticket will get a digital copy of the 2025 Better Said Than Done Recipe Collection. Contributors include our emcee and all the night’s tellers, along with entries from our wider BSTD community.
Tickets are available now! Our suggested contribution is $15, with a minimum contribution of $1 and levels for those inclined and of means to be generous. As usual, proceeds split between the storytellers.
Come join us to share and amplify this joyous celebration!
