DESCRIPTION:Live performances of the 2026 Women’s Storytelling Festival have concluded\, but you can purchase $42 tickets\, through April 8th\, to watch all 16 plus hours of recordings. The videos are available to watch through April 28th. \nThe Women’s Storytelling Festival Main Page\nThe WSF Tickets Page\nThe Women’s Storytelling Festival\, produced annually in March by Better Said Than Done\, is a festival celebrating all women and gender nonconforming spoken-word performing artists. The festival debuted in March 2020 in Fairfax City\, VA. \nTHESE VOICES MATTER \nFor centuries\, the American story has centered on generals\, presidents\, and political power. Greatness has often been defined by conquest\, legislation\, and battlefield victories. \nBut history also unfolds in hospitals\, classrooms\, churches\, communities\, and factories. Mothers give birth to every generation yet rarely hold ownership over how that generation’s history is told. When women tell history\, something shifts.We see greatness:\nNot only in victory but in resilience.\nNot only in power but in empathy.\nNot only in dominance but in survival. \nEach story is written\, refined\, memorized\, and performed live. \nNo scripts. No staged readings. No fourth wall. DESCRIPTION:On April 25\, join us at Clare and Don’s Beach Shack for “It’s Raining Men: stories about guys and weather\,” with emcee Ravi Pimplaskar and storytellers Len Kruger\, Joe Morice\, Sarah Snyder\, Zette St. Charles\, Carlos Velazquez\, and Chris Wade. \nClare and Don’s Beach Shack is located at 130 N Washington St\, Falls Church\, VA 22046. A full dinner and bar menu is available for purchase before and during the show. There is plenty of free parking nearby\, including a parking garage behind Clare and Don’s. \nIf you are currently underemployed or just stressing the price\, please take advantage of the 2 tickets for $20.\nOnline registration for this event is closed  \nYou do NOT need a Paypal or Stripe account to purchase a ticket. After you add ticket to cart\, you get taken to a page to confirm your purchase. You can choose between Paypal or Stripe and no matter which processor (gateway) you choose\, you do NOT need an account with them. You can pay by credit card or other methods via your chosen processing gateway. \nYou do not need to print your receipt. Once you register\, your name will be on the list at the door. Please note\, there is no reserve seating\, so if you have a large party\, please arrive early. \nNo refunds will be issued for cancellations received after registration.
