SUMMARY:Author Event with Storytelling
DESCRIPTION:As you may have heard\, Better Said Than Done Executive Director Jessica Piscitelli Robinson has just had a new book published. Jessica Piscitelli Robinson has been crafting and performing personal stories through many stages of her life. In Stages: My Life in Stories\, she’s collected 25 stories that span from her childhood in the ‘80s to the creation of her own children through IVF. The collection is meant to be read as a memoir-in-stories. Each story is complete in and of itself\, but represents a different pivotal moment\, a different stage\, in the life of the storyteller. \nTo celebrate\, Better Said Than Done is hosting a conversation with the author\, on Zoom\, led by our arch nemesis and West Coast Bestie\, Claire Hennessy\, of Six Feet Apart Productions. \nDuring the conversation\, in addition to the drama\, there will be some storytelling\, some discussion of memoir writing and story writing\, a chance for you to ask questions\, and finally – one lucky attendee will win a signed copy of the book! \nThis event is free\, but you have to register to attend. The link to register is below or click here. \nStages: My Life in Stories was published September 2024 by Tucker DS Press. You can purchase the book through Tucker DS Press here\, or find out more about where to meet the author and purchase the book from jessicapiscitellirobinson.com
